My MAC Lipstick Collection (with swatches)
Many people's favourite collection right? Honestly I am not much of a MAC hoarder. I love collecting lipsticks, but MAC is not my only favourite brand. So I was kinda surprised to discover that somehow I already own 8 MAC lipsticks and this is indeed the time for a collection post.
The prices of the following lipstick vary from €19.50 to €24.00. Furthur information can be found on their official website here.
MAC LIPSTICK 'PLEASE ME' (MATTE)This was the first MAC lipstick I purchased. I wanted an everyday, wearable shade and this matte nude pink caught my eye. As I discovered later, it was not a quick-slap-on-the-go kinda lipstick. A very pretty shade, but I have to make it work or it leaves me looking drab. Click here for full review!
MAC LIPSTICK 'RAVISHING' (CREMESHEEN)
A perfect peach lipstick! I love both the shade and the finish. Very moisturising, weightless on the lips! It goes so well alone for an everyday natural look or can be paired with dark smokey makeup. It lasts for 2-3 hours.
MAC LIPSTICK 'WATCH ME SIMMER' (AMPLIFIED)
This limited edition lipstick will be my favourite from the bunch, if I HAD to pick one. A creamy, pinkish-coral that just brightens the whole look in one swipe. This shade is so gorgeous. So sad it was a limited edition.
MAC LIPSTICK 'VIVA GLAM NICKI' (SATIN)
A very brave colour; a vivid yellow-pink which is very Nicki Minaj-y. The satin formula goes on effortlessly. But I can only pull this shade with the right makeup and attire or I look ghostly.
MAC KELLY OSBOURNE LIPSTICK 'KELLY YUM YUM' (SATIN)
A very recent purchase (reviewed here), this lilac packaging just stole my heart. It is a stunning bright pink with blue undertones, very similar to MAC's Candy Yum Yum.
MAC LIPSTICK 'RUBY WOO' (MATTE)
This is a cult-favourite, blue-toned, very matte red, that makes teeth look white. You will see people all over the internet raving about this particular shade. And all kind of celebs rocking it on the red carpet. True, it is is a killer red but the very dry formula does make it a tad bit of a nuisance. Click here for full review!
MAC MINERALIZE RICH LIPTICK 'DIVINE CHOICE'
This is my favourite everday winter shade. Though it has a tendency to make face appear a li'l dull if not worn with the right makeup. I love pairing it with my Rouge Bunny Rouge 'Gracilis' Blush. MAC describes it as a 'mid-tone cool pink', I also see some purple undertones to it. The formula is very creamy and it has a sheer-medium opacity.
This is a beautiful reddish-coral. A very unique, brightening-your-face kinda colour. It is brighter than it appears in the swatches above. These Mineralize Lipsticks have a very creamy formula with a glossy finish. Click here for full review!
Hope you enjoyed my mini MAC Lipsticks Collection and it helped you in any future purchase.
