I have never worn lenses before so when I received two pairs in my mailboxes from Pinky Paradise I was both excited and nervous. And I just couldn't help myself from creating a makeup look with each!
I have always wanted to try green lenses. I think they look really flattering. So the first pair of circle lenses I picked was Mimi Apple Green from Bambi Series. The other pair I wanted was something that is a tad bit natural, so I decided to go for something brown, thus the Hyper Circle Brown. Pinky Paradise also offers prescription lenses.
For those who don't know 'circles lenses' are 'big eye contact lenses' with their diameter ranging from 14-15mm. The lenses reached me safely packaged in their bottles with two cute animal cases for later storage. For a beginner, it took me some time getting used to the process of wearing them. Nonetheless, I was surprised to find that once on my eyes I didn't feel I had something on. They are so, so comfortable.

These lenses look so adorable on the model wearing them on the website, but sadly they did not show much on my dark eyes. All they did was to just give an illusion of an enlarged iris, which did look doll-like and cute.
In the look, to make the eyes pop more I added some aquas and greys. On the lips I added a hint of MAC Viva Glam Nicki and to make it more softer I layered some Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Dandelion.

Ooh aren't these lenses a beauty? I can't get over how beautiful the green looks. Totally in love! The pattern running through is also so stunning.
I just had to pair these beauties with my fave red lipstick the MAC Ruby Woo. On the eyes, I used a lot of shimmery white eyeshadows and created a soft cut-crease with a grey-black shade. Also I am wearing the Illamasqua Hussy on my cheeks.
I love how both the lenses enlarge the eyes. It looks so beautiful yet natural. The lenses blend really well with my whole appearance not looking too weird.
I am really, really glad I got to try out Pinky Paradise lenses. Whatever fear I had of wearing lenses just went out the drain plus the circle lenses just look so darn adorable. And honestly, I think they are also very reasonably priced with a life span of 1 year.
