MY OPINION
Undeniably this is the most chic and affordable drugstore pressed powder! I simply love it's classy black encasing and the fact that it comes with a mirror and sponge in the hidden compartment underneath it. Although you have to flip back and forth to apply the powder then look in the mirror.

Maybelline has a wide range of shades in this pressed powder, although I found the first few shades having a whitish cast to them. The powder has a li'l bit of shimmer in it, which won't make your face unnaturally dewy nor would keep it matte. I think it would generally suit people with dry, normal or combination skins. It doesn't combat oiliness and the tad bit shimmer won't sit well with oily skins. I have been using it all summer and have no problems at all. But I use it mostly for my under eyes and prefer Mineral Hygienices Translucent Finishing Powder for my whole face, which is kind of heavy on the eye area.

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder is very finely milled and feels quite lightweight. It gives a very translucent, natural finish, which is amazing. I dab it with the sponge under my eyes and use Sigma F45 to sweep powder all over my face if I have to.

It is also quite handy to keep in my bag and pat over my t-zone or my under-eyes if required.

MY RATING

This pressed powder has gotten both good and bad reviews and for me it turned out to be the former, I love it for myself, it suits me perfectly.

  2. Not sure if I like the idea of flipping back and forth to the mirror if I was on the go but their wide shade range is intriguing!
I may have to swatch a couple!
