Purple Blue Eye Makeup Tutorial - Guest Post

We have once again the lovely Chetana from Style Craze who shows you how to do a purple blue eye makeup.

Purple eye makeup is not a very common form of eye makeup. The only reason behind it can be the lack of proper colour selection along with a purple eye shadow. A dark purple eye makeup can look really ravishing  only if the associated colours are worth the contrast creation.

If you want to be a little experimental and try out colourful eye makeup looks, then this tutorial can be a nice try. Try it out for your girl’s night out. It’s a flirty eye makeup which you will love for sure. It doesn’t have a regular black upper eyeliner. Instead it has a broad blue lining of a shimmer blue liner making it rather more exotic and sweet to look at.

Some simple things that you will need for this eye makeup look are:
  • A concealer and foundation
  • A face compact
  • Eye shadow (Colours needed - dark purple or brinjal colour shadow, Bright orange coloured eye shadow in matte finish and silver highlighter)
  • A shimmer blue liner pencil
  • Black Eyeliner pencil
  • Kajal/Black liner
  • Mascara
  • Lash Curler
  • Lash Comb

STEP 1
On clean eye lids, apply concealer and foundation. Follow it up with a face powder for a flawless texture.

STEP 2

Apply the dark purple or brinjal coloured eye shadow on the whole eye lid.

STEP 3
Apply light orange eye shadow on exactly half the eye lid from the outside. Also apply this into the crease and form a jacket.

STEP 4
Apply the silver highlighter on the whole of the brow bone. Now take the blue liner pencil and give a thick lining on the upper lash line. Extend the ends of the liner on both the sides. It should look something like below after the shadow and liner is properly applied. Also apply blue liner along the lower rim just below the water line and extend which should not join the top line.

STEP 5
Apply mascara, we are not using any liquid black or brown liner on the top lashes here.
STEP 6
Comb out the excess mascara with a lash comb. This helps to clear out any clumps of mascara left on the lashes.

STEP 7
Use a curler if required.

STEP 8
Here is the final subtle green eye makeup look.

Simple yet a very different looking eye makeup. Do give it a try.
