NOTD: LCN I Love Mint

Picture of LCN I Love Mint

Since last year I have been searching for a perfect mint nail polish until LCN released their Spring 2013 Blossom Sorbet Collection, which I luckily stumbled upon while browsing the aisles in Karstadt (Germany). I picked the shade I Love Mint and it cost me 4.95 for an 8ml bottle!

There are three more shades in the LCN Spring 2013 Blossom Sorbet Collection; Lilac Blossom which is a shimmery indigo, Soft Daisy, a pastel yellow which is somewhat similar to Astor Yellow Buttercup and Vintage Rose is an orange-y coral. I might pick Lilac Blossom since the shimmer in it was so beautiful.

I Love Mint is a lovely pastel mint shade with a creme finish! If you love mints for Spring, this shade is a must-have. The formula was a bit streaky but the second coat covered it well. I have used two coats and no topcoat in the pictures above. The size of the bottle is petite but thankfully the brush was not. I hate working with small brushes.

I also did a polka dots lace-y edged mani with this shade which I posted on my instagram a while back. The nail art was inspired by a Bubzbeauty tutorial.

What do you think of this mint colour?

  5. Its literally a pain to find a pretty mint in Pakistan with a good formula. I gave essence polishes some consideration but they were a let down for me. This is really pretty and im head over heels in love with nail shape! ^_^
