Guest Post: The Body Shop Lily Cole Pearl Radiance Primer

Our guest blogger today, the lovely Ablazeaqua shares with us her opinion about The Body Shop's Lily Cole Radiance Primer.

Hi I'm Ablazeaqua; student of marketing, a beauty amateur, a makeup maniac, an occasional shopaholic and blogging about it is now my new hobby. Collecting footwear, bags, fragrances, art & photography are bunch of my other passions.

The Body Shop came up with such girly designs in their Lily Cole Edition that is so chic looking too. The packaging looks young and hip. Seriously!
So let’s begin with the REVIEW..

PACKAGING
The Pearl Radiance Primer comes in a black bottle with a pump (so we can say packaging is hygienic & product amount is controllable). The part that contains product is transparent and displays pretty pink pearls. The name Pearl Radiance is just perfect for it! Complete with the Lily Cole sign and Barbie pink ladybird inspired pattern cap I think the product is really pretty in display! And the pump is pretty handy, love the packaging :)
What about the product itself...?

SWATCHES

MY EXPERIENCE
I love the packaging & these cute pearl beads & that was one of the attraction  for me towards this product ! You can actually see the floating solid beads in this pump but it comes out pretty messed up, I like it that way because it’s really easy to apply on the skin. Glides really easy and brightens up my look instantly. It is not too moisturizing but good enough to stay supple until I have my foundation on.
This product manages to conceal pores well so that when foundation comes on, skin looks as if it is flawless, it has a pearlescent base which gives the skin a dewy healthy glow and this still remains after foundation!
A perfect product from TBS really love it!!

MY RATING: 4.8/5

PRICE: €20 for 15ml/0.5 us oz

  13. I like the fact that it comes with a nozzle, do you think it will work just as well on oily skin? xx

    1. I haven't used it personally Saira! But what I have read about this thing is that it gives a very glowy look to the whole face, which I don't think would flatter oily skins. It might get too overly radiant! x
