Annika Maya Mineral Blush in Pink Berry (Review & Swatches)

ANNIKA MAYA CLAIMS
Annika Maya blush glides on the skin for a healthy, luminous glow.

PRICE & AVAILABILITY
People in Pakistan can order from LUSH Grooming Bargains.

THE BASICS
Annika Maya is a mineral line recently launched by Brigette's Boutique. Their line contains foundation, primer, blush, shimmer powder, eyeliner and glitter. The whole range can be found here.
They have 6 gorgeous shades in their mineral blushes, and I received Pink Berry. Each blush contains 9g of product.

MY OPINION
I love mineral blushes. I think they work best to give that soft, natural, luminous flush to your cheeks. I was really excited about receiving a mineral blush sample from Brigette's Boutique, but since I had never heard of the Annika Maya brand I wasn't really sure what to expect. And trust me guys; I was literally wow-ed the first time I tried this blush.
It is a beautiful cool-toned light pink shade with a satin-y finish that leaves such a healthy flush on the cheeks. The texture is very smooth, finely milled and blends to perfection. The colour is not heavily pigmented like wham in your faces, but easily buildable. I was also surprised with its lasting power as such light shades do not last long but well it did, 4-5 hours.
I received the tester pot so I have no idea about the actual packaging. But I think the full size products also do not have the sieve part on the top making it really difficult to control the amount of product. There is a tendency you might drop the pot or spill while picking up the blush; which would be a total waste! If Brigette's Boutique can work out the packaging and include the sieve this mineral blush is definitely an all-rounder.

RATING

Amazing blush, only the packaging needs to be worked on!

UPDATED: I have been told that the full size product does have a sifter cap.

    1. Yeah you are right. They are tricky. You need time with them. You can't just apply them in a car or something like that. x

  9. On the swatch the colour of the blush looks amazing! We all want to have pink blushes in our vanity, but I'm a bit reluctant in working with loose pigments. x
