THE BASICS
Astor BB Cream is available in two shades; 100 Ivory and 200 Nude. I picked the shade 200 Nude. It is a 30ml tube.

How close is this to the famous Asian BB Creams?

MY OPINION
Astor has come up with a new product this year, their Skin Match Care BB Cream. The good thing is, unlike most brands trying to imitate BB creams and ending up with tinted moisturisers, Astor BB Cream does not. It provides a flawless, medium coverage; blends easily and evens out the skin tone. It has a semi-matte finish and looks very natural. It also contains Shea Butter with moisturising properties and Vitamin C derivatives to help prevent the signs of ageing. And I am glad to say it has an SPF 25. I really like the fact that this BB Cream acts both as a complexion uniformer and skincare product.
On the downside though Astor Skin Match BB Cream is not close to a tinted moisturiser it is closer to a foundation with its opaque coverage. I also find it a little thick in consistency and I would have preferred it to be more creamy and fluffy. It comes in only two shades, which makes the colour selection very limited and I do hope they add more to their range soon.

RATING

A good budget BB Cream! Since other drugstore BB Creams are a tad more expensive and only provide sheer coverage.

  4. Huh. If only the colour range wider, indeed.

I kind of like the BBs with more coverage/opacity, but not so much the thicker/heavier consistency...
