Review & Swatches: Color Studio Professional Neon Nails

Oh my brightness! It's hard to miss the raging neon nails trend around the nail polish world. Electrifying, festive, vivid shades are the IT thing this summer. But OPI and China Glaze are not up for everyone's grab. I was delighted when Color Studio Professional introduced their 7 shades of Neon Nails. Let's get swatching three of them.

We have all used that screaming-yellow highlighter in our school days. What will you get if we touch the parrot green highlighter to that screaming-yellow one? Neon Elixir! B-b-bright yellow with a hint of lime green and you are ready to strut the neon trend.
I have applied 3 coats above and made it almost-opaque and added a top coat in the end.

SHOCKING that's what this Neon Pink is! I still haven't managed to grasp its true shocking-ness in the pictures though I tried almost thirty angles to avoid getting bubblegum pink nails, which was how they were appearing on camera. Well, this colour is Shocking Pink. Period!
I have applied two coats and top coat above.

Ah my favourite of all Neon Blue! It's a mix between midnight blue and denim blue. Either way it sure is magnificent. I used two coats to make it opaque. And it was already so shiny that I skipped the top coat.

Color Studio Professional Neon Nails are available in all superstores nationwide. You can also buy them online from Mascara Mafia. They are reasonably priced at PKR 350.

  7. Ah! How cool! I have never seen these before. I terribly attracted to Neon Elixir and Neon Pink! Neon Blue looks pretty but streaky, like it's hard to apply. I'd love a neon pink shade, that's for sure! Great post, great pics!

    1. Thank you :D No, actually I was sitting directly under the fan while applying Neon Blue which kept drying the polish before I had a chance to evenly apply it. I learned after the first coat :P

  16. I read somewhere that a white nail polish as a base really helps in making neon colors more opaque and getting rid of VNL. Great review girl and I LOVE Neon Devil :D

    1. Thank you! Yes you are right the Yellow and Pink make my hands look darker as you can also see in the swatch. The Neon Blue on the other hand has the totally opposite effect, that's why I love it the most.
A tip - that if you really love these colours and want to wear them, try adding a dark shatter polish on top or make a nail mani by pairing with a darker nail colour on the base of the nail, this mattifies the neon effect. :)
