Review: Beautyuk Liquid Eyeliner in Black

 BEAUTYUK CLAIMS
For liquid line and flick perfection try our richly-pigmented, water-based formula. Comes in an easy to hold applicator, with a firm nylon tip ensuring bold precision – perfection everytime!

PRICE
PKR 500 (£2.49)
I got it from Just4girls.pk. Also available at Beautyuk.

FACTS AND FIGURES
A black eyeliner with a firm nylon tip.

MY OPINION
It is easy to carry around with good staying power and better than my kryolan-cake-eyeliner black colour but that’s where it all ends for me. I am particularly unhappy about its firm nylon tip. It is so hard to maneuver it over my eyes. Beautyuk claims that the nylon tip ensures bold precision but I can never manage anything but a streaky application. I even mess up my lashes in the process. I ended up using my own brush which is an added bother. I prefer on-the-go application, instead of rummaging in my drawers for a brush and then cleaning it up and putting it back. I am also not happy with the consistency of this eyeliner which is more on the thicker side.
For this same budget I think MUA or Rimmel London have better options.

RATING
I would only buy this again if it was the last eyeliner available on Earth.

  7. Definitely hate when the tip is stiff and difficult to maneuver! That's always a big no for me. Sorry it didn't work out!

  11. It does look on the streaky side! That's unfortunate that it requires extra effort in order to wear it. I personally prefer felt tip eyeliners, I just find they're easier to work with :)
