The Tools of Vidal Sassoon - Curlaire

Today I am going to review this beauty which was a birthday gift by a very dear friend of mine. She bought it from a store in Birmingham, UK. I am afraid I don't know its price and neither did I ask her. This product is available with the name of "CURLAIRE" with  the brand code of VSCB520.

This is the how it looks when you first open it.

HOT AIR STYLER
This styler is a combination of curling device and blow dryer. It gives gentle heat, drying you hair while you style it.  There are air holes that allow hot air to pass through. The styler has a heat stand, stay cool safety tip, on/off switch, curl release lever and a swivel cord for easy maneuverability. It comes with a 0.5 inch barrel.

BRUSH SLEEVE
There is also a slip on vent brush for body and shaping as you dry your hair. It can be used to give gentle-lifts and quick touch-ups or to flick up the ends of your hair.

14 ROLLERS
There are 14 rollers - 4 large, 6 medium, 4 small. For more curls you can slip each roller onto the styler and roll each hair into place.

14 SUPER CLIPS
Use them to secure rollers to your hair.

TRAVEL POUCH
This is for easy storage. It is big enough to store all your rollers, clips and brush sleeve inside it.

BOOKLETS
There is an Instruction Booklet, a Product's Catalogue and a Guarantee Registration Form. Curlaire comes with 2-year performance guarantee.

Some styles made with Curlaire

What I love best about this hot air styler is that I don't use any hair gel or mousse except for a protective hair serum and it gives me retainable, softest curls ever.

  4. It gives you even heat, has no low/high heat option. Though not mentioned anywhere I assume it's abt 180 degrees, not at all harsh. Your hair curl in 10-15s.
